Internship

When you are an intern with PSA, you get to learn from one of the World’s Port of Call. Our internship program is unique in that it is flexible and focused on the individual which can last from 12 weeks (for polytechnic students) to 6 months (for University students). Based on your faculty of studies, the training is conducted in one specific and relevant department. We may also assign you to a special project during your internship.

The internship will include an orientation on the overview of the organization, project, field work (if relevant), guided hands-on practices. If you show yourself to be a cut above the rest, you may be recommended for potential hire upon graduation or at the end of the internship.


Senior HR Executive / Deputy HR Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Selection
  • Administration of Peoplesoft system (HRIS)
  • Co-ordinate employee activities
  • Co-facilitate in teambuilding and leadership sessions including logistics assistance
  • Support initiatives for culture change
  • Provide support to learning & development initiatives
  • Research and writing of articles
  • Implementing conceptual ideas and execute designs for HR communications material
  • Assist in the management of Variable bonus schemes of employees
  • Lead and drive the budgeting process for Group HR
  • Work seamlessly with external consultants to obtain market pay benchmarking data
  • Management and maintenance of the PSA gym
  • Assist in all general HR and administrative functions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in HR Management
  • At least 5 years' related experience in large corporate organizations. Experience working in a global corporate/subsidiary work environment preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Photoshop. Have a keen eye for detail and asethetics
  • Numeric inclined, meticulous, analytical, process-driven self-started with the ability to work both independently and as a team member
  • Display a confident, matured and pleasant disposition
  • Able to multi-task, work independently and exercise initiative with strong interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational and excellent communication and writing skills wit a flair of creativity

Accountant / Senior Accountant (Group Consolidation)

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the financial reporting of PSA Group and regional business group

    • Preparation of consolidated financials of PSA Group and Region for management (including forecast and budget) & statutory reporting.
    • Co-ordinate with operating units on reporting submission timeline and requirements

  2. Responsible for the financial accounting and reporting books of selected investment holding companies (IHCs) which includes statutory audit and tax / GST filings, management forecast and budget

    • Monthly Closing of Financial Accounts
    • Submit management/statutory accounts for Group consolidation
    • Banking related matters

  3. Conduct feasibility studies and submit recommendations on new projects

Requirements:

  • Good degree in Accountancy
  • Qualified CPA / ACA / ACCA
  • At least 4 years' related experience in Financial Accounting & Booking
  • Solid Group Financial consolidation experience
  • Strong in financial analysis an decision support skills
  • Experience in annual financial and budgeting exercise
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Meticulous, analytical with the ability to work both independently and as a team member
  • Knowledge on any accounting software ie Oracle, Frango/ Hyperion consolidation will be an added advantage
